Welcome to Woodpecker estate. You are now at one of Coorg’s most beautiful locations. We are an estate home curated by as a getaway from the city life into the Woods in union with Nature, flora and fauna. It’s built with minimum impact to nature using imported Canadian spruce wood and a few tons of steel. Every room and space is curated with special detailing to make it unique, luxurious and to blend into the nature sustainably.
We at Woodpecker Estate (WPE) wish to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as much as possible. We request you to please follow our estate rules and regulations mentioned below. We will do our best to remedy problems or concerns if you may have any. TERMS AND CONDTIONS
Below are the terms and conditions, please read them in detail and sign the disclaimer after accepting:
Registration : All registered Guests should produce valid government ID mandatory during Check-In. The person booking and staying should be above 21 years of age, children to be accompanied by an adult at all times in the property. All facilities for use are available only between check in and check out timings as per reservations.
Occupancy : Occupancy of site is restricted to the registered guests only therefore we do not allow any visitors/ drivers etc., If any it would be on extra charges. Please check with the caretaker on this.
Children : All children need to be supervised by a parent or guardian. WPE will not be responsible for any damages, losses, injuries and accidents while staying with us.
Request you to keep your belongings safe. WPE is not responsible for any loss of valuables, accidents or injuries.
We try to keep our environment as clean as possible. Kindly do your part by throwing all trash in the designated trash bins, including cigarette butts. Smoking is not allowed inside the rooms, within the seating areas/ deck areas.
Quiet hours will be maintained between 9.30 p.m. and 9 a.m. Because of the open design of the estate, sound can travel a distance. Please minimise sound since it might disturb other guests and surrounding areas.
Outside food and beverages are not allowed, other than specifically mentioned when booking.
RIGHT CONDUCT : We reserve the right to remove/evict any guest or group of guests should the management finds them engaging in fights, creating nuisance, disturbing the serenity, co-occupant or damaging asset belong to WPE either.
Consumption and possession of contraband substance, illegal drugs, within the WPE is strictly prohibited.
BREAKAGES / LOST Items : Any breakages / lost items related to the estate caused by guest co occupants during their stay will be charged to their personal accountability and will be settled in full upon check-out. The amount to be charged is based on the price acquisition of such item(s).
LIABILITY : The management assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or loss of property including theft, fire, flood, wind, or any act of God that may occur within the area of WPE
Storing of Hazardous goods in the room or estate property is strictly prohibited.
Outdoors is monitored/recorded by CCTV cameras for security reasons.
ILLEGAL ACTIVITY : WPE will not permit illegal activity anywhere on the property, management and staff will assist the police in every possible way (including testifying) to convict anyone performing illegal acts or engaging in illegal activity within the premises.
ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES : Please note in case of any accidents, injury caused during the stay at WPE, the guests shall not have any claim over the management, they shall hold the management fully indemnify over any claim and shall in no way liable for the risk expose to while taking part in any activities while your stay at the WPE the activities shall be participated by you taking risk at your own cost.
Since the estate is designed considering minimal modification of the natural landscape and nature by keeping it rustic and original, we request you to be careful on the uneven areas.
If allergic to any kind of food or drink, please check with the managers before consumption if doubtful
DECLARATION
I. In recognition of the inherent risks of the activity or tour and stay at WEP in which I will engage/staying, I confirm that I am physically and mentally capable of participating in the activity. My stay and participation activities are voluntary and I will assume financial responsibility for personal injury, accidents, illness and damage to or loss of personal property as the result of any incident or accident that may occur.
II. I understand that this release relates to all claims and liability during or after the trip resulting from a pre-existing medical condition. I have read and completed fully and accept full responsibility for any omissions or errors or any non-compliance WEP.
III. As it is likely that in these sorts of tours/stay weather must be taken into account. If conditions are such that we have to change arrangements, or we can’t follow the suggested itinerary due to bad weather, WPE will not be able to provide any sort of refund. If there are any other circumstances including but not limited to riot, political unrest, court or administrative orders, natural or other disaster, nuclear incident, terrorist activity, and we have to cancel a tour as a result of these circumstances, we will not be able to provide any sort of refund.
IV. If the behaviour of any guests is likely to cause distress or harm to themselves, our member of staff or other team members, our WPE staff reserve the right to terminate their stay at any time and they will have to make their own arrangements; we will not be liable for any expenses incurred as a result. We will not entertain any claims arising in case such actions taken by our staff.
V. If for any reason you have to leave the WPE property early, you will not be entitled to any refund. We will not be liable for any expenses incurred to you as a result.
VI. In case of any injuries/illness during the stay at WPE or during activity while staying at WPE. WPE or its staff will not be responsible for any kind of claim for damages. WPE will try to provide adequate staff support (within its financial constraints) to ensure the basic safety. The guests shall bear all the expenses which may arise in case of any medical exigency or emergency condition.
