At Woodpecker Estate (WPE), our primary goal is to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

Important Information
- Bonfire: We provide a complimentary 1-hour bonfire, subject to firewood availability and weather conditions. Additional bonfires can be arranged with the caretaker at an extra cost.
- Common Areas: Guests have access to shared spaces like the bonfire area, Machaan (treehouse), and common dining areas. The caretaker will brief you on specific access based on guest composition.
- Assistance: A bell is available in the villa for assistance. For other rooms, please call the caretaker directly for specific requests.
- Dining: Meals are served as per your pre-agreed menu choices. We do not allow outside food. Guests may bring their own alcoholic beverages; drinking glasses are provided.
- Meal Cancellation:Once confirmed, meal orders cannot be canceled and will be part of the final bill.
- Pre-order Meals: We recommend pre-ordering your meals and starters as we source fresh ingredients a day before your arrival. Ask the caretaker for the online menu.
- Location: Please use the correct location, “Woodpecker Estate Madikeri, Coorg,” on maps. There is another place called “WP Homestay,” which is not our location.
- Breakfast: Our chef serves a fixed breakfast menu between 7:30 AM to 10 AM. Any requirements outside these hours are chargeable as per actuals.
- Bedding: Our queen-size beds accommodate 2 adults. Contact the caretaker for extra bedding requirements.
- Nature Conservation: Woodpecker Estate is designed to coexist with nature. Occasionally, you may encounter snails, spiders, or insects when doors or windows are open. Please inform the caretaker if assistance is needed. We strive to live harmoniously with nature.
